What is bclee?

Yes, most experts agree that bclee is human. Its name is most likely something like Brian Lee, and we strongly suspect it is a graduate student in physics at the University of Michigan, although apparently being nocturnal it has rarely seen in the sunlight, so this hypothesis is based on relatively few sitings. From these few observations, we have concluded that it leads a nomadic life, traveling back and forth across the county. Behavior patterns vary at different points in the migration -- while in Michigan, it spends most daylight hours destroying things with some sort of large lens. bclee currently seems to be at the other end of the semi-regular trek, in California . No one is sure why bclee has migrated there, as most normal humans are intellegent enough to avoid that region.

It is believed that "Brian" does research in gamma ray astrophysics, and works on some project called "GROCSE," although the meaning of this word is likely to remain obsure until his group is convinced that they really should set up a home page.

Investigations into bclee's history show that it may have spent some time in Kansas, and may even have a degree in Physics and Psychology from Kansas State University although this seems unlikely and has yet to be confirmed. In addition to the afore mentioned regions, bclee has also been seento stop in mid-journey in several places between the Rockies and the Sierra Nevadas, peering at and recording images of odd scratches and markings placed rock surfaces by ancient humans.

Careful field study has shown that Brian lives with one other human and five other mammals: "Amy Brooks" (human, possibly spouse); "Baba Jaga" (cat); "Jabberwock," "Little Nemo," and "Toby" the rats. There are also uncountable spiders in this same dwelling, although it appears that this is merely one of the many unfortunate consequences of living in California.
