See their homepages and experience the wonder for yourself:
Please note this is an only slightly modified version of a page I
first wrote in 1995 and may or may not have ever updated after
that
Amy Brooks has a web
page, but there's not much there at the moment. By the time you
read this there probably won't still be pictures of her
adventures in California here, but maybe you
will be lucky.
Everybody plays bass in a band. Well, nearly.
My brother Dan Lee plays bass in a band:
Trusty Defiant
Before that he was in El Fontain, Ten Thumb, Maria the Horse
that Eats Cats, and probably a few others.
Amy's brother Brian Brooks plays bass in a band too:
King Suckerman
He has been in so many bands that I've lost count, most
recently Avondale, and perhaps most memorably Dr. Zeuss.
Ande
Glasmacher actually still updates her UMich web page.
She did not put up any pictures of her beloved Chia Pet (just
pictures of her kids.) Neither did her husband, Thomas. I
guess priorities change.
Apparently so does Tim
Meade. There seems to be some correlation here between
kids and updating web pages?
Well, so much for that theory. First of all, Ron
Moore's page has been badly neglected despite the kids.
David
Skinner hasn't updated his either. Second, I don't have
kids, so what am I doing updating my pages?
James Kittock has a spiffy web page,
but it's mostly for his students.
Out of date links: these haven't been updated since maybe
1996, when I was in grad school, so probably almost none of them
actually work. Sorry.
Evan
Dodd was thrown out of Seattle because he plays bagpipes.
Maybe.
Virgotech is
Mr. Johnson's fault. Check out the poetry.
Graham
Kribs is not only Canadian and a physicist, but he even
believes in SuSy! If you don't know what SuSy is, don't ask.
You are lucky.
Dan Lee has a
homepage now, sort of. I deny any relation.
Unlike Dan, Mu Young
Lee really isn't related to me. I am somehow deeply
disturbed by that truncated picture he has up of himself.
Do I know YOU?
If so, and you have a web page, then you too could thrill at that
unique queasy feeling you can only get by being listed here. So
send in your URL now, or else I might find it on my own . . .
